With so many innovative highlights in the gadget, here are the top 5 features in Canon’s new addition to its EOS System.

Canon EOS R

1. World’s fastest focusing speed

Beating other major competitors in the mirrorless camera release, Canon’s new EOS R is equipped with the fastest focusing speed, as of the date of release, with Dual Pixel CMOS AF in just 0.05 seconds. You can now capture the fleeting moment with ease.

2. RF Mount technology system

The main unique feature of EOS R is its 54mm diameter RF mount and flange focal distance of 20mm. This would enhance smoother data transfer between lens and camera.

3. New and improved Image Stabilisation

This new feature applies to both still images and videos. The Dual Sensing IS are able to accurately detect low-frequency vibrations.

4. Breakthrough low-light focus

Canon EOS R has EV-6 focus limit which allows the lens to attain precise focus in extreme low-light conditions and even in almost complete darkness.

5. A touchscreen Electronic Viewfinder (EVF)

The touchscreen feature of EOS R is a vari-angle LCD, permitting users to adjust settings on the customisable multifunction bar by tapping and sliding the screen. It is also the first Canon camera to have FV exposure mode in the EVF allowing direct control in one single mode.
