As recently awarded with the Malaysia Book of Records, RED by Sirocco in Kuala Lumpur is now an elevated attraction in the city by having the tallest mural in Malaysia.
Adding to Malaysia’s unending list of charms, RED by Sirocco took on an exciting project to reflect the country’s beauty and uniqueness. The mesmerising 25-storey high mural is a creative work by talented local artist, Kenji Chai in showcasing all things Malaysian.
All Eyes on It
It took Kenji Chai 400 litres of paint, around 100 litres of spray and three gondolas to break into the Malaysia Book of Records.
Kuala Lumpur has some undeniable amazing pieces of art adorning the walls by the streets and now, we've one more to add to that list! Check out the tallest mural in Malaysia, as certified by the Malaysia Book of Records, only at RED by Sirocco by our super talented local artist, Kenji Chai. The depicted woman in the mural is from an indigenous Malaysian Dayak ethnic group together with national flower Bunga Raya surrounded by other florals showcasing Malaysia’s natural tropical beauty.
Fishes floating in the air depict ‘Relax’ in the air. The Parrot represents chasing one’s ‘Dream’ by soaring higher and the freedom to create art. The ‘Enjoy’ element is represented by the different culture’s food such as tropical fruit and Chinese noodles, highlighting us Malaysian’s love for eating.
The Essence of RED
RED by Sirocco has 143 stylish contemporary rooms in midst of its traditional surroundings in Heritage Row at Dang Wangi. Guests are encouraged to “Relax, Enjoy and Dream” in their “Redness”.
