Three weeks have gone by this fasting month but have you tasted all your favourite food that you normally get from the neighbourhood bazaars? With over a hundred items, you are spoilt for choice on every evening when it comes to satiating your cravings.

The holy month of Ramadan is always more than just a spiritual journey. It is also the time for you to reconcile with your family over the dinner table, breaking fast together starting from a bite of dates.

With so many family members and individual preferences, it is always a feast of delight with every one’s favourite foods laid out. Most common popular ones are meat skewers, regional rice, ikan bakar (grilled fish) and traditional breads like murtabak and rotis. But before all these delights, one must scourge in the hot weather and sea of people queuing to buy from their favourite stall.

Find similar Ramadan bazaar gastronomies from all around Malaysia at Rajawali Coffee House at Awana Hotel in Resorts World Genting. A feast of Ramadan buffet is served in an array of traditional Malay dish to desserts.

Regional delights can be found side by side with Nasi Dagang, Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Briyani and Nasi Putih served alongside curries and side dishes across Malaysia. Mouth-watering fares like Gulai Lemak Daging Salai and Assam Pedas Ikan Pari are richly cooked in their spices while the Australian Lamb is well-roasted and juicily flavoured, dipped in homemade black pepper sauce or mint sauce for choices.

If you can’t live a day without noodles, there is a dedicated Laksa counter with Laksa Kedah, Laksa Johor, Mee Jawa and Mee Bandung next to the delicious Ipoh Curry Mee or Penang Char Kway Teow. Afterwards, wash it down with a wide array of homemade desserts of various colours and textures.
