Sky Avenue in Genting Highlands house about 50 dining outlets; and many are newly launched restaurants in the country. One of the highly-anticipated eateries by Malaysians is definitely the Burger & Lobster franchise! I had tried the outlet in London City but will it be the same as our very own shore?
Lobster in The Clouds
Genting Highland is one of our tourism icon for decades. Those who wanted to escape the heat in exchange for the cold weather always lands in Genting Highlands. It was late last year when locals found more of a reason to go to the newly opened Sky Avenue for the chance to dine at their acclaimed famous restaurants. Sky Avenue is might simply be a shopping mall but this is among the clouds.
Out of UK, Burger & Lobster is only available in six other locations and one of them is lucky Malaysia! So finally, I decided to go and try it out and see if it is as good when it first opened in 2011 at UK.
I must say that it is decorated in a visually appealing manner with large aquariums of live lobsters as well as other lobster paraphernalia. Plush booths, dim lighting with bars seats creating a cosy yet inviting scene. But, the main highlight is still the lobster!
One must try the Chilli Lobster or the Original Lobster Burger (my favourite). It is a hearty morsel with tasty meat patties in between baked sesame seed brioche bun with lots of potato chips on the sides. Best to go with your Original Lobster burger is Time Keeper, a high-class black tea with lime, kaffir lime leaf and palm sugar.
Overall, I would give it an 8 out of 10 rating for my experience and it is something you would want to try it out for yourself!
