Since The Pearl Kuala Lumpur showed their positive support for Tabung Harapan Malaysia last month, the hotel’s current status of donation stands at RM74,080.00 and rising.
Tabung Harapan Malaysia (THM) is a goverment donation drive founded for Malaysians in the spirit of patriotism and togetherness to relieve the national financial debt. As urged by Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, the fund allows Malaysians to show sehati, sejiwa, seraga (one heart, one spirit, one body) with the country.
As reported here, The Pearl Kuala Lumpur will donate RM10 For every room night sold from 1 June to 31 August to the national fund. The Pearl Kuala Lumpur has welcomed an occupancy of 7408 room nights in the whole month of June resulting in a large sum of donation collected in just a month.
“We are happy that the occupancy was at a good percentage for the month of June, hence enable us to donate RM74,080.00. We aim to reach RM200k mark by the end of the campaign date” said The Pearl Kuala Lumpur’s General Manager, Mr. Dylen Gan.
The Pearl Kuala Lumpur hope that the hotel’s act of kindness and donation will make a big difference in the long run for the well-being of all Malaysians and to our beloved nation, Malaysia.
