On 2 November, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) welcomed the first ever direct flight from Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), Germany. The partnership built with the 62-year-old Condor ensures to provide more travelling options for avid adventure seekers.

German Leisure Carrier

Condor is the second-largest commercial airlines, based on fleet size and passengers flown, in Germany. Part of the Thomas Cook Group, the airline offers over 80 destinations across Europe, America, Africa and Asia and is proud to add Malaysia to their new destination.

Debut Touch Down

The arrival of the Condor‘s inaugural flight was greeted with a special Malaysian cultural performance courtesy of Tourism Malaysia. In support of the inaugural flight, Sarawak Tourism Board worked close with Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, to bring 7 media representatives from Germany on a Malaysia-Truly-Asia tour around Kuala Lumpur and Sarawak. This cultural trip will allow the representatives to get better acquainted with the unique offerings in Malaysia.

A Long Haul Flight

Condor will be operating the KUL-FRA route three times a week on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The FRA-KUL route will also be operating three times a week on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

Flight departing from KL to Frankfurt will be 13 hours and 45 minutes long while flight deprating from Frankfurt to KL will only be 12 hours and 20 minutes.
